Amazing food, handmade crafts and homicidal vendettas are on tap for Hulu in December, as the Walt Disney Co. DIS, +2.06% -controlled streaming service rolls out classic movies, a smattering of Emmy-worthy series and a handful of originals.
The holidays are all about family, but for those not quite feeling the spirit of the season, Hulu is dropping “Reprisal,” a gritty, noir-ish family thriller on Dec. 6. Abigail Spencer stars as a woman who makes it her mission to take down her brother’s gang, who left her for dead, in a ‘50s-era revenge story, one of the few Hulu original series debuting in December.
Season 3 of “Marvel’s Runaways” and the horror anthology “Into the Dark” round out the other new Hulu originals. Among new network titles, Season 2 of the NBC crafting competition “Making It,” Season 3 of “Better Things,” Season 2 of “Killing Eve” and Season 16 of “Top Chef” (that’s the Kentucky season) offer your best bets for bingeability, along with movies such as Cameron Crowe’s “Almost Famous,” ’80s classic “Some Kind of Wonderful” and a trio of “Fast & Furious” movies.
