Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 3.02%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 3.02%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which rose 15.00% or 336 points to trade at 2576 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) added 13.15% or 976 points to end at 8400 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was up 8.78% or 306 points to 3790 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), which fell 4.41% or 242 points to trade at 5247 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) declined 3.11% or 16 points to end at 496 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was down 2.79% or 690 points to 24050.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 319 to 82 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 6.82% or 1.67 to $22.82 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 3.69% or 1.01 to hit $26.38 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.08% or 17.65 to trade at $1651.05 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.92% to 3.5839, while EUR/ILS rose 0.41% to 3.9516.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.35% at 99.630.
