Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.70%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.70%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 8.31% or 18.8 points to trade at 245.0 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 5.49% or 8.2 points to end at 158.6 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 5.20% or 15.5 points to 313.6 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 6.72% or 14.1 points to trade at 195.6 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 1.35% or 8.0 points to end at 585.4 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 1.11% or 0.8 points to 75.2.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 47 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 20.50% or 4.18 to $24.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 12.61% or 3.43 to hit $30.63 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 7.85 to trade at $1705.45 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.71% to 6.8878, while EUR/DKK rose 0.07% to 7.4636.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 99.877.
