Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.69%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.69%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 0.47% or 0.5 points to trade at 106.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 0.31% or 2.2 points to end at 722.2 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 0.29% or 1.1 points to 387.0 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 4.37% or 102.0 points to trade at 2234.0 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 2.49% or 9.7 points to end at 380.4 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was down 2.42% or 16 points to 628.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 39 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.39% or 0.16 to $40.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.72% or 0.31 to hit $43.00 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 6.70 to trade at $1896.70 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.29% to 6.3989, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4421.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 94.412.
