Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.98%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.98% to hit a new 3-months low.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which rose 5.72% or 1090 points to trade at 20150 at the close. Meanwhile, Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) added 2.60% or 86 points to end at 3396 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) was up 2.00% or 12 points to 606 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 3.89% or 121 points to trade at 2993 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 3.23% or 570 points to end at 17100 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was down 3.22% or 48 points to 1445.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 309 to 87 and 18 ended unchanged.

Shares in Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) fell to 3-years lows; losing 3.22% or 48 to 1445.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.80% or 0.32 to $40.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.29% or 0.12 to hit $41.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 8.80 to trade at $1877.20 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.25% to 3.4711, while EUR/ILS rose 0.40% to 4.0529.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 94.315.
