Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.49%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.49%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which rose 3.59% or 17.4 points to trade at 502.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 3.20% or 25.40 points to end at 818.00 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 2.76% or 28.0 points to 1043.5 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 2.08% or 6.3 points to trade at 296.9 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 1.28% or 2.0 points to end at 158.1 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 1.26% or 31.0 points to 2426.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 101 to 61 and 13 ended unchanged.

Shares in Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.28% or 2.0 to 158.1.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.90% or 1.92 to $68.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.75% or 1.92 to hit $71.80 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 2.65 to trade at $1781.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.28% to 6.5912, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4363.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 96.310.
