Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 2.43%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 2.43%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which rose 8.90% or 35 points to trade at 424 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 6.99% or 43.80 points to end at 670.80 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 6.28% or 16.0 points to 270.6 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 4.55% or 43.8 points to trade at 918.6 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 2.35% or 4.0 points to end at 164.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was down 1.99% or 3.9 points to 189.8.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 100 to 38 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.58% or 0.62 to $24.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.40% or 0.38 to hit $27.53 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.56% or 25.95 to trade at $1634.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.61% to 6.8781, while EUR/DKK rose 0.06% to 7.4693.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.14% at 101.082.
