Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.24%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.24%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which rose 2.93% or 30.5 points to trade at 1070.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 2.78% or 19.60 points to end at 724.80 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 1.75% or 11.0 points to 640.2 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 5.80% or 382 points to trade at 6204 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 5.51% or 15.3 points to end at 262.5 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 4.35% or 3.3 points to 72.1.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 36 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.16% or 0.30 to $25.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.67% or 0.50 to hit $29.48 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 7.75 to trade at $1714.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.20% to 6.8873, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4562.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 100.220.
