Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 1.60%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.60%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050), which rose 10.00% or 1.12 points to trade at 12.32 at the close. Meanwhile, The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) added 9.95% or 1.96 points to end at 21.66 and Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) was up 9.92% or 1.28 points to 14.18 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which fell 48.35% or 16.68 points to trade at 17.82 at the close. Al Andalus Property Co SJSC (SE:4320) declined 6.81% or 1.08 points to end at 14.78 and Halwani Bros (SE:6001) was down 2.87% or 1.35 points to 45.65.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 152 to 37 and 7 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) fell to 5-year lows; falling 48.35% or 16.68 to 17.82. Shares in Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) rose to 52-week highs; rising 9.92% or 1.28 to 14.18.

Crude oil for July delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $29.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 5.49% or 1.71 to hit $32.84 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 12.25 to trade at $1753.15 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.15% to 4.0645, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7565.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 100.398.
