Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.41%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.41% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 9.44% or 39.2 points to trade at 454.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 2.99% or 69.0 points to end at 2375.0 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.47% or 232 points to 9626 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 13.36% or 29.6 points to trade at 192.0 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 1.73% or 1.8 points to end at 99.6 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 1.00% or 9.0 points to 887.4.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 60 and 23 ended unchanged.

Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.44% or 39.2 to 454.3.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.12% or 0.05 to $43.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.11% or 0.05 to hit $46.24 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.55% or 29.90 to trade at $1953.00 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.04% to 6.2911, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4449.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 92.877.
