Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.85%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.85%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 1.55% or 3.3 points to trade at 216.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) added 0.19% or 1 points to end at 634 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 0.10% or 0.8 points to 840.2 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM), which fell 2.77% or 24.0 points to trade at 841.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 2.67% or 29.0 points to end at 1059.0 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 1.78% or 9.4 points to 520.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 101 to 31 and 16 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.57% or 0.63 to $40.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.77% or 0.74 to hit $42.47 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.38% or 26.60 to trade at $1902.90 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 6.2938, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4408.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 92.933.
