Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.53%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.53%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 7.62% or 28.80 points to trade at 407.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TASE:HARL) added 2.65% or 80.00 points to end at 3,101.00 and Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI) was up 2.39% or 74.00 points to 3,172.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 2.93% or 1,170.00 points to trade at 38,700.00 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) declined 2.72% or 1,600.00 points to end at 57,240.00 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) was down 0.94% or 240.00 points to 25,160.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 265 to 234 and 28 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.43% or 1.13 to $77.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.48% or 1.24 to hit $82.75 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 8.95 to trade at $1,824.75 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.57% to 3.52, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.05% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 103.71.
