Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 2.30% or 6.30 points to trade at 280.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 1.15% or 5.40 points to end at 475.50 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 0.40% or 4.60 points to 1,150.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA), which fell 3.32% or 7.10 points to trade at 206.90 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 2.12% or 13.80 points to end at 637.60 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was down 1.87% or 12.00 points to 631.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 62 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.05% or 1.45 to $72.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.87% or 1.40 to hit $76.31 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 9.25 to trade at $1,983.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.31% to 6.88, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 102.79.
