Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.38%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.38% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 3.66% or 5.00 points to trade at 141.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 2.57% or 4.84 points to end at 192.80 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 1.74% or 1.85 points to 108.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which fell 3.99% or 24.60 points to trade at 592.00 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 3.10% or 16.80 points to end at 526.00 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 2.70% or 4.50 points to 162.20.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 65 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 4.05% or 2.94 to $69.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.66% or 2.82 to hit $74.30 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.10% or 21.35 to trade at $1,923.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 6.80, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 102.03.
